This is a place of encouragement, a place to discuss body image, insecurities, self-esteem, and everything under the umbrella of fighting self-hate and finding self-love.

No matter what you look like, what color, what gender, sexual orientation, what size or however many "flaws", healthy, not healthy, working on it, abled, disabled, we are all human, we all deserve to be happy, we all deserve to love ourselves. With this blog you will see all kinds of REAL bodies, REAL people, REAL stories.

Eve Ensler is an amazing woman who wrote the Vagina Monologues which I’ve performed with people at my college. Ensler is an amazing poet, speaker and TED Talks are a great place to watch cool videos! Be warned that this one is deep. You may need to stop. (self care)

Artist and activist Zanele Muholi interviewed about her documentary Difficult Love. The work provides a glimpse into her life and reveals the challenges faced by SA’s LGBT community.

“You hardly find books that talk about lesbians… black lesbians and their families, black lesbians and their children, black lesbians and education ,black lesbians taking over the movement in the way that they fully understand it using the art as means i think that we read more about death then we hear about love and life and the living part of our lives. “
