This is a place of encouragement, a place to discuss body image, insecurities, self-esteem, and everything under the umbrella of fighting self-hate and finding self-love.

No matter what you look like, what color, what gender, sexual orientation, what size or however many "flaws", healthy, not healthy, working on it, abled, disabled, we are all human, we all deserve to be happy, we all deserve to love ourselves. With this blog you will see all kinds of REAL bodies, REAL people, REAL stories.

((I am the one on the right.))
I have always lived with a fear of cosplaying as one of my hero’s from childhood. I wasn’t her body type and I feared being made fun of because of things I had seen in the media and online. But with some help from people I love and just wanting to love myself more I decided to say “Fuck it” and spent a year saving up and getting everything I needed to play my hero for a day or two at con.
It was the best choice of my life, I had so many people get excited. Little kids want to come and hug me and older people tell me I looked just like their hero! I was brave and bold and it paid off for the better and those who might make fun of me I say fuck you. You can’t take away the actions I got that weekend for being myself and doing something bold.
Don’t let fear rule you, the world will always be scary. But if you take a chance and do something YOU love you never know who you might inspire. You are bold, you are beautiful and you are loved. Just as I am.
