Our mission: to love ourselves, every last inch! To support others, help build positive self esteem! This is The Body Peace Revolution!

This is a place of encouragement, a place to talk about body image, a place for feeling beautiful. No matter what you look like, what color, what gender, what size or however many "flaws", healthy, not healthy, working on it, we are all human, we all deserve to be happy, we all deserve to love ourselves. With this blog you will see all kinds of REAL bodies, REAL people, REAL stories.

I think that self-confidence is something that everyone struggles with. Girl, boy, black, white, young, old, stick thin, or curvy. No matter where you are in your life, I think that you will always have those little moments where you don’t feel great about yourself. You won’t always like what you see in the mirror, you won’t always be proud of yourself. So if you’re reading this, and you’re struggling with body image or something like that, just know that even if you do get to some “ideal body” that you want or change who you are, you’re still going to have those off moments where you’re unhappy with your body or personality or life. I know that sometimes, when I have bad days, someone will say, hey, cheer up, you have a great family, awesome friends, an amazing boyfriend, you’re smart talented all this stuff. But you probably know by now that just because someone else says that to you, doesn’t always mean that you will feel the same way about yourself. So, something I’m learning to do is when I DO have those moments, I stop and think about how short life is. I know, I know; the cliché live like you are dying thing. But really, it’s true! If today were your last day, would you want it to be spent in front of the mirror, analyzing the extra pounds that you despise? Would you want your last moments spent in self-hatred? The world is a really, really beautiful place, and you have to just stop and look for the beauty sometimes. I think that’s how it is with yourself, too. You have to stop and realize that there are beautiful things about you. It’s not always going to be a walk in the park, trust me, I know. Some days, I wake up and can’t stand what I see in the mirror. But do I want to sit around and mope, or do I want to have a positive outlook and go on with my day? I think that the answer is obvious (: So what do I do when I start to feel down in the dumps about myself? I think DAMN I have some nice curves. And shoooot my smile is nice. And I really make this dress look good! No! It’s not conceited! It’s having confidence when you look at yourself (: Embrace your good things, not so good things, and flaws. There’s no one quite like you in the world, so embrace that!
Everyone has beauty inside of them , sometimes you might just have to set aside the bad thoughts and pressure that’s being put on you, and pull out the good again. I think you’re beautiful, from the top of your lovely head, to the bottom of your cute little feet. Smile ! And enjoy life ! Make someone else smile; make a difference with yourself and with the world. Have a good day(:
